OPINION BY PLATT, J.:

The Commonwealth appeals from the order entered by the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County granting Appel-lee Brian Lee Anderson’s motion to suppress evidence. We reverse and remand.

On August 8, 2007, police officers were investigating a burglary when they noticed a hole in Appellee’s apartment door and smelled marijuana inside the apartment. Through the hole, they saw a pair of feet, but no one answered the door when they knocked and announced themselves. The officers entered the apartment and found Appellee sleeping.
