On June 16, 2017, the plaintiff Wayne Rice (the "Plaintiff") commenced this employment discrimination action against his former employers Volkswagen Group of America and Smithtown Volkswagen (together, the "Corporate Defendants"), as well as an individual employed by the Corporate Defendants, specifically, Joe Bindels ("Bindels") (together with Smithtown Volkswagen, the "Defendants").
