This is a cross-claim in an action brought by the United States of America against M. Jeanne Stone (“Stone”) to recover unpaid federal taxes. Cross-claimant Stone asserts that cross-defendants AVCO Corporation (“AVCO”), Chrysler Corporation (“Chrysler”) and Consolidated Natural Gas Company (“Consolidated”) breached the duty each had to invest dividends or interest withheld from her after a Sequestration Order was issued.
