MEMORANDUM OPINION
RONALD S. BARLIANT, Bankruptcy Judge.
The Debtor in this case died after he filed his bankruptcy petition. The Chapter 7 Trustee seeks to recover from the executor of the Debtor’s probate estate the proceeds of a pension fund and a life insurance policy. The executor contends that the pension fund is not property of the estate because of its anti-alienation provisions, and he contends that both the insurance and pension fund proceeds are exempt under section 522(b) and (d) of the Bankruptcy Code.
