Jeffrey P. Arnold appeals the trial court order reducing the jury awards for past and future pain and suffering against Security National Insurance Company (“Se curity”) by a total of $996,000. 1 We reverse the order because the record fails to identify or explain what establishes the need and appropriate amount for a remitti-tur.
