MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

Pending before the court is Plaintiff Resten Moore’s (“Moore”) Motion to Remand (# 8), wherein Moore seeks remand to state court of his action against Defendants Bis Salamis, Inc. (“BSI”), BP Exploration & Production, Inc. (“BP”), and Mobil Oil Exploration and Producing Southeast, Inc. (“Mobil”) (collectively, “Defendants”). Having reviewed the motion, the submissions of the parties, the pleadings, and the applicable law, the court is of the opinion that remand is not warranted.
