In case No. 30185, defendant Carter appeals from the judgment following his conviction of one count of forgery (Pen. Code, § 470) and three counts of possession of a completed check with intent to defraud (Pen. Code, § 475a). In the same case, defendant Brown pleaded guilty to one count of forgery (Pen. Code, § 470) and appeals under Penal Code section 1538.5, subdivision (m), for a review of a search and seizure issue.
