This suit was brought by appellee in the circuit court of Madison county, Arkansas, against appellant to recover $1,183, with interest from June 15, 1940, at the rate of six per cent, per annum on three county warrants, Nos. 2203, 2207, and 2261, issued against the county road turn-back fund in payment of machinery sold by appellant to Madison county, which warrants were sold, indorsed and delivered by appellant to appellee for the amount sued for; and to recover $693.29, with interest at six per cent, per annum from June 15, 1940, on two county warrants, Nos. 2226 and 2313, issued against…
