Plaintiffs filed suit seeking declaratory judgment regarding their respective rights, liabilities, and obligations in reference to two promissory notes and in reference to certain collateral held by the defendant for the payment of those notes. The complaint also sought a temporary restraining order and an injunction to prevent the defendant from seeking collection of the note from the plaintiffs and from conveying or assigning the collateral pending the action for declaratory judgment.
