This case comes before the court upon cross-motions for summary judgement by the plaintiffs, three limited partnerships registered in Virginia (“the partnerships”), and the defendant, Bardyl Tirana (“Tirana”), an attorney based- in Washington, D.C. The partnerships argue in their Motion for Summary Judgment that the undisputed facts establish that Tirana tor-tiously interfered with their rights under a contract with his client.
