SMITH, Judge.

Defendant appeals a judgment imposing a life sentence following conviction by a jury of first-degree murder. We find no prejudicial error.

On 21 January 1993, shortly before 1:00 a.m., the Cumberland County Sheriff’s department dispatched Deputy Regina Robinson-Hart (Deputy Robinson-Hart) to Hall Motor Company (HMC) in response to a reported shooting.
