Plaintiff filed an action to recover damages for injuries sustained by her through the alleged negligence of the defendants, doing business as Chicago Surface Lines. Following a trial before the court and a jury, a verdict was returned in favor of plaintiff in the sum of $7,500. At the close of plaintiff’s case, and again at the close of all the evidence, defendants moved for a directed verdict, which motions were overruled.
