AINSWORTH, Circuit Judge:

A jury convicted defendant Patrick Joseph Savage on January 6, 1977 of know-ingly possessing approximately $25,120 in counterfeit twenty-dollar Federal Reserve Notes in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2 and 472. 1 The district court sentenced him to three years’ imprisonment and he now appeals, alleging two points of error.
