On September 16, 1919, plaintiffs agreed in writing to sell to defendant a certain piece of real estate situated in the city of New Orleans, and on May 19, 1927, instituted the present suit for specific performance. The defendant set up her defenses, and then reconvened in her answer for the return of her deposit of 10 per cent, on the contract price with interest, and for the recovery of damages for alleged loss of profits.
