OPINION

HARKINS, Senior Judge.

The Apache Tribe of the Mescalero Reservation (plaintiff /Tribe) in a complaint filed June 15, 1992, asserts the United States breached its fiduciary duty to the Tribe by failing to properly manage, cut, and market its timber resources during the period March 9, 1979, to the date of the complaint. The complaint seeks compensation for damages incurred by the Tribe due to mismanagement of its timber properties.
