The complainant, Maryland Casualty Company, a Maryland corporation, brings its bill in equity against the Charleston Lead Works, a South Carolina corporation, and against John P. Jones, a citizen of South Carolina, alleging that he is a citizen of the United States and resident of the state of South Carolina, and ever since and prior to the year T925 has held the office of collector of United States internal revenue for the district of South Carolina, and is sued in his own right and as such collector.
