On February 15, 1990, plaintiff Roger Brooks (Roger) brought suit in the circuit court of Macon County seeking money damages for personal injuries suffered by him. On March 9, 1990, plaintiff Ruth Ann Brooks (Ruth Ann), Roger’s wife, joined in the suit seeking damages for loss of consortium arising from Roger’s injuries. Various parties were sued.
