OPINION

HILL, Justice.

Stephen Lewis Smith appeals his conviction by a jury of the offense of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The jury, finding both enhancement paragraphs in the indictment to be true, assessed his punishment at life in the Texas Department of Corrections, Institutional Division.

Smith contends in four points of error that the trial court erred in: (1) denying his motion to suppress evidence on the ground that there were insufficient facts to justify his detention and search, and refusing to suppress a certificate of title that was seized as a result of the illegal…
