The plaintiff-in-error, who was the plaintiff below, brought this suit to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him when his car skidded, went over an embankment and struck a nearby pole carrying a power line. The scene of the accident was within the area in which there was being constructed for the United States Government a war plant known as the Wolf Creek Ordnance Plant, located near Milan, Tennessee.
