The plaintiff brought suit in the District Court of the United States for the District of New Jersey as the alleged widow and sole dependent of George Albert Fran-zen to recover compensation under the Employers’ Liability Laws of Louisiana 1 for the death of Franzen in the course of his employment by the defendant company in the latter State.
