Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Teresi, J.), entered October 16, 1998 in Ulster County, which granted defendant’s motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
In 1989 and 1990, plaintiff complained of persistent itching and treated with several dermatologists, including defendant, to no avail. After exhibiting additional symptoms in September 1990, he was ultimately diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease two months later.
