These are three actions of trespass on the case for negligence brought to recover damages alleged to have resulted from a collision between two motor vehicles on West Wrentham Road, in the town of Cumberland. The plaintiff Juliette Desmarais seeks to recover for personal injuries, while Ernest J. A. Desmarais, her father, seeks to recover consequential damages. A third action was brought by the estate of Claudette Desmarais pursuant to the wrongful death act. In the superior court the cases were tried together to a justice thereof sitting with a jury, and in each case a verdict was returned…
