The defendant appeals under G. L. c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, from his conviction, after a jury waived trial, on counts 1 and 3 of an indictment charging him with armed robbery of two women at the Pi Alley Theatre, Boston, on January 12, 1971.1 Execution of the *498defendant’s sentences to indeterminate terms at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Concord has been stayed pending appeal to this court.
