HAWTHORNE, Justice.
This suit was instituted by the Louisiana Department of Highways in 1954 to expropriate certain parcels of land owned by the defendant Hub Realty Company, Inc., for the construction of a limited access facility known as the Carrollton-Airline Interchange. Hub Realty Company owned all of Squares 644, 618, and 619 in the Seventh District of the City of New Orleans, and the Department sought to expropriate all of Square 644 and parts of Squares 618 and 619.
