JACKSON, Justice.
On July 7, 1954, Learvill. N. Schlessman filed a claim from compensation against his employer, Chalmers and Borton, and insurance carrier, Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Insurance Company, respondents herein, in which he states that on January' 4, 1954, while in the employ of Chalmers and Bor-ton he sustained an accidental injury consisting of an injury to his back resulting in a ruptured intervertebral disc and sciatica nerve injury.
