Tulare civil township consists of congressional township 115 north, of range 64 west 5th P. M., in Spink county. In May, 1922, Tulare independent school district 36 embraced Tulare township. Therein were two schoolhouses, one on the southwest quarter of section 11, and one in the town of Tulare, situated on the southeast quarter of section 27.
