— Defendant S. W. Corlett 1 appeals from a judgment pursuant to a jury verdict against him in the amount of $25,000 in an action for malicious prosecution and for false imprisonment. Plaintiff brought two such actions, the present action, which is based upon defendant’s charge that plaintiff stole a Cadillac autoipobile, and a second actióñ; which is based upon defendant’s charge that plaintiff stole rings, luggage, and other personal property. 2 As a result of the two charges plaintiff underwent a single arrest, imprisonment and a preliminary hearing which resulted in dismissal of the…
