The Quanah, Acme & Pacific Railway Company, herein called plaintiff, brought this suit against Wichita State Bank & Trust Company, herein called defendant, and another, with whom we ate no longer concerned. The plaintiff sought to recover of the bank a large sum of money on the theory of conversion, or upon the theory that it had aided and assisted one T. K. Hawkins in a misappropriation of said money, by crediting to the personal account of said Hawkins checks belonging to plaintiff, under circumstances which charged defendant with notice that Hawkins had misappropriated…
