In a seven count indictment, appellant was charged with two counts of assault on a correctional officer with a dangerous weapon (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-505(b)), two. counts, of assault with a dangerous weapon (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-502), two counts of assault on a correctional officer (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-505(a)), and possession of a prohibited weapon (D.C.Code 1973, § 22-3214(b)).
