The plaintiff, Athena Wagner, brought this action against her employer, the Connecticut Department of Correction (“DOC”) and seven DOC employees: Commissioner Theresa Lantz, Deputy Warden Wayne Chowinski, Affirmative Action Officer Joseph Civatello, Lieutenant Richard Blanc, Lieutenant Robert Guerin, Lieutenant Robert Jinks,, and Lieutenant James Watson.
