Original Proceeding in Prohibition

PRICE, Judge.

Relator Leña Jones seeks a writ of prohibition against The Honorable William Syler to prevent enforcement of an Order compelling her to execute a medical authorization form. Jones, the plaintiff in a personal injury negligence suit, claims that the medical authorization would permit discovery of medical information that is irrelevant to the injuries alleged. Because the authorization was not limited in time and was not limited to specific health care providers, we make the preliminary writ of prohibition absolute.
