The insured, a contractor living at Albany, Georgia, left his home on the morning of September 5, 1934, ostensibly to go to MeEae, Georgia, where he was building a court-house. He was never seen alive after leaving Albany on the morning in question. On Friday, September 1, 1934, his car was found at the end of a dirt road leading into a swamp, and on the following morning his body was found in the swamp several hundred yards from his car.
