On May 26, 1925, plaintiff entered into a contract to purchase lot 246 of Meyering Land Company’s Lake Drive Estates subdivision in Paris township, in the county of Kent. The entire subdivision was then vacant land, located within the limits of the village of East Grand Rapids. The contract price was $1,800. A small down payment was made, and- monthly payments thereafter provided for. Its use was limited to a single residence, the cost thereof-to be not less than $6,000.
