ACHESON, Circuit Judge.
This was a suit by Mrs. Maggie Harkins against Pullman's Palace-Car Company for the recovery of damages for the death, alleged to have been occasioned by the defendant’s negligence, of her husband, Michael Harkins, who, while in the employ of the defendant at its works in the city of Wilmington, Del., on the morning of January 8, 1891, was caught by a rapidly revolving shaft, and killed.
