On October 20, 3909, the defendants in error borrowed from the plaintiff in error the sum of 8500, as evidenced by their promissory note of said date, due and payable on January 20, 1910. for $538.75. with interest at 30 per cent, per annum from maturity until paid, and on November 24, 1909, they borrowed the additional sum of $400, due January 24, 1910, with 10 per cent, interest per annum from maturity.
