Before the Court is Defendant Diamond Service’s Motion for Partial Summary Judgment on Maintenance and Cure (R. Doc. 38). For the following reasons, the Motion is GRANTED.
BACKGROUND
This is a maritime personal injury suit. Plaintiff, Frederick Smith, was a deckhand employed by Defendant Diamond Services Corporation (“Diamond Services”) aboard the M/V MR. STEPHEN.
