The trial court granted defendant Baker’s motion for summary disposition pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(8) and (10) on the ground of governmental immunity. Plaintiff appeals and we reverse.

Plaintiffs decedent was admitted to defendant Pontiac General Hospital for treatment of a urinary tract infection. While lying on a cart in the emergency room, plaintiffs decedent apparently *448fell off the cart and fractured her left hip.
