This proceeding presents for determination the legality of bonds proposed to be issued by the county of Bay in the sum of $375,000 for the purpose of constructing a courthouse. The question was submitted to the electors at the regular spring election in April, 1931, and was carried by a vote of 10,781 for and 3,889 against.
The decision of the trial judge, Hon. Charles B. Collingwood of the Ingham circuit, sitting in Bay, sustained validity, and decree followed accordingly. Defendants have appealed.
