On November 4, 1922, plaintiff leased from defendant a certain lot .of ground in the town of Franklin for a period of five years, beginning November 1, 1922, and ending October 31, 1927, with privilege to the lessee to purchase the property at any time during the life of the lease for $3,500 cash.
On October 8,1927, plaintiff notified defendant that it intended to exercise the privilege thus granted, and would notify Her when it was ready to pass the act of sale.
