Plaintiff, Dhanraj Ajnoha, seeks recovery on an accident policy issued to his late wife, Indrine Ajnoha, by defendant, JC Penney Life Insurance Company, now known as Stonebridge Life Insurance Company (“Insurance Company”). Suing on his own behalf, plaintiff claims that the Insurance Company failed to pay $1,000,000 in benefits owed under the policy’s loss of life provision; suing on behalf of Ms. Ajnoha’s estate, he claims that the insurance company failed to pay $1,000,000 in benefits owed under the policy’s loss of eyesight provision.
