1Opinion of the CourtGrainger, J.

On indictments for rape and indecent assault and battery, a jury returned guilty verdicts on the indecent assault and battery charge and, as a lesser included offense of the rape charge, on a second count of indecent assault and battery. The defendant appeals from the judgments on divers grounds. We consider in this opinion only the defendant’s assertion of error related to the admission of extrajudicial identifications, disposing of his other claims in a memorandum and order pursuant to our rule 1:28 also issued this day. Commonwealth v. Machorro (No. 2), post 1113 (2008).
