Alfred Glaseo, appeals apportionment of a settlement under an uninsured motorist policy in a wrongful death claim on behalf of his daughter Charmaine Glaseo. The court awarded the bulk of the settlement to decedent’s mother, Carolyn Glaseo. Carolyn Glaseo cross-appeals claiming the trial court erred in awarding any portion of the settlement to Alfred Glaseo because Alfred failed to assert his paternity as to the decedent and suffered no loss that entitled him to any recovery under § 537.080, RSMo 1979.
