This is an appeal by Jacqueline White, administratrix of the estate of her daughter, Andi D. White, from a final order of the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, dated August 13,1991, which ordered distribution of a wrongful death settlement to Ms. White and to Andi’s father, Ted A. White. The trial court ruled that under W.Va. Code, 55-7-6 (1989), and W.Va.Code, 55-7-7 (1989), Mr. and Ms. White were each entitled to one-half of the net proceeds of the settlement.
