Gary R. Crews appeals from a final judgment entered in the District Court 1 for the Western District of Arkansas, upon a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff, Robert L. Jackson, on Jackson’s 42 U.S.C. § 1983 complaint. The jury awarded Jackson $5,231.75 in compensatory damages and $50,000 in punitive damages; the district court awarded Jackson $15,907.50 in attorney’s fees pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1988.
