—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Patricia Anne Williams, J.), rendered June 30, 1992, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, and sentencing him, as a second felony offender, to a term of 5 to 10 years, unanimously affirmed.

The record fails to support defendant’s contention that the conduct of the court deprived him of a fair trial. Most of the comments complained of were made in the absence of the jury. Moreover, the court’s instructions and admonitions to the admittedly inexperienced defense counsel were necessary…
