MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

GETTLEMAN, District Judge.

Plaintiff Mary Banks, formerly employed as a crossing guard by the Chicago Police Department, has filed a second amended complaint against the Chicago Housing Authority (“CHA”) and four of its police officers (collectively “defendants”). Plaintiff asserts claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that defendants violated her civil rights by: (1) using excessive force; (2) failing to prevent a civil rights violation; and (3) failing to provide medical assistance.
