MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

LEINENWEBER, District Judge.

In this action appellant, Bernard M. Ellis (“Ellis”), appeals from the bankruptcy court’s ruling in In Re Volpert, 177 B.R. 81 (Bankr. N.D.Ill.1995), in which the bankruptcy court ordered Ellis to pay $1000 in sanctions under 28 U.S.C. § 1927 for “unreasonably and vexatiously” multiplying the proceedings. For the reasons stated below) the court affirms the bankruptcy court’s decision.
