The Court of Civil Appeals for the Seventh District presents the following certificate and question:

“On the 3rd day of September, A. D., 1921, Minnie Slaughter Veal, joined by her husband, G. T. Veal, and H. D. Chipley of Crosby County, Texas, entered into a contract of sale whereby approximately 20,000 acres of land, situated in Cochran County, Texas, was sold by the Veals to Chipley.
