The plaintiff appeals from the judgment of dismissal of his action pursuant to Practice Book § 251 for failure to prosecute with reasonable diligence. The case began as a small claims action which the plaintiff brought for alleged violations of his civil rights pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Upon the defendant’s motion, it was transferred to the regular docket, where the plaintiff filed an amended complaint in two counts spelling out in more detail his claims of federal civil rights violations.
