The parties were ordered to appear at a motion calendar of this court on April 30, 1992, to give reasons why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of a final judgment pursuant to Governors Grove Condominium Assn., Inc. v. Hill Development Corporation, 187 Conn. 509, 446 A.2d 1082 (1982). The sole issue of this appeal is whether the denial of a motion to open the dismissal of a civil action pursuant to Practice Book § 251 for a failure to prosecute with due diligence is an appealable final judgment.1 We conclude that it is not and that, therefore, we must dismiss the appeal for lack of…
